I got this one by going through the Elite 4 and using all of my team's moves. I have the same issue. When I add the shader cache yuzu just crashes and deletes the file from the transferable folder. It runs fine on the next boot when it creates it's own new shader cache file. You were trying to use an outdated cache that got incompatible after the new texture cache got implemented. Kewlan thanks for the info! I still crash at launch on specific shaders in Canary I built the cache myself in Canary and I haven't updated or used other versions.
Interestingly, I can sometimes get past shaderbut not past not that the numbers mean anything other than to indicate an interesting issue. Also interesting is the fact that the first time this "getting stuck" happened, I deleted the file in the precompiled folder and relaunched about 5 times, and I eventually loaded with shaders.
The second time, I copied the shader file from the transferable folder into the precompiled folder and relaunched about 10 times and it finally loaded with shaders. Skip to content. Already on GitHub? Sign in to your account. This is not a complete shader cache. Drivers will recompile the shader when the state they were created or used with has changed.
When a precompiled shader is dumped the shader program was not used by the driver hence the dump is incomplete. A proper solution would be to save in transferable all the OpenGL state a shader is used with and use it like that while the game boots. I'm not aware of what state exactly matters and this is driver dependant.
But it reduces to a few seconds when there's a precompiled cache. The precompiled cache does not store GLSL or OpenGL entries, storing these would reduce significantly the time spent decompiling shaders a step that's not skipped even with a precompiled cache. It is not recommended to "build" transferable cache libraries for now because the format may change in in the life-cycle of this PR.
Remainder that sharing shader caches of any type is illegal, shaders are game code and that's copyrighted. Sharing transferable cache of free software most homebrew is fine.

That was a no go, i'm lost now, don't know what else to do, nothing is working. About ready to give up on PC and go back to my PS4. Deleting the shader cache didn't work, i've deleted the game and reinstalled it, check the version to make sure i'm on the right one, unchecked all mods to make sure the mods that I have are not causing it, nothing is working.
Boa noite. It sounds like you are at least making it to the Main Menu. Go into Career and start a new, separate, savegame on one of the Giants maps Ravenport or Felsbrunn. Do not enable any mods on this savegame. If this doesn't work then I would guess you should contact Giants Tech Support via their email address. I'm assuming you have already tried deleting the GAME. XML file, because that sometimes gets corrupt.
Per page: 15 30 I usually remove the shaders folder when I've installed a new version of my display driver, but that's it. I do it when I change sceneries, display drivers or driver settings. Only one mouse click with "Simstarter". Non-Default entry. This entry will not exist in your Prepar3D.
Performance Tuning Tip: Using this rebuilds your shader cache by incrementing the number each time you make a change to the Prepar3D. Time, is the one thing no one can buy. The shader cache version work fine only if you make a change to the cfg file. It does not do anything if you do not change the file. Other than the time it takes to rebuild the shaders, there is no harm in deleting them. Anytime I make any sort of change in P3D, I delete the shaders.
Add aircraft, scenery, any graphics driver settings. NVI changes, etc. P3D 1 - K 5. The shaders only need rebuilding after any shader code has changed. So we make a change in the shader code and we delete the shaders and they are remade from the new code when the sim next runs and finds they are missing.
The cfg setting saves shader coders the hassle of deleting the shader folder each visit. It's a new P3D 3. Just to complete my understanding - is this to make it look better, or increase FPS or both? None of. I also have set up a batch file which deletes the shaders folder and also starts ASN and P3D, all in a row. The batch file itself is started by the simstarter tool, just had to point to it in simstarter's "start definition". So one cklick does it all.
And so my shaders folder gets deleted everytime i start the sim. Isn't that a bit too much? Those shaders are saved for a reason, why would you delete them everytime?! I only delete them whenever I installed new scenery or totally change my settings.Cemu doesn't use my Shadercache and makes a new one.
